Erin’s passion for coaching others began several years ago when she hired her own coach for the first time and saw her life transformed. Although she had been a successful nonprofit professional, she was stuck in her career and in unhealthy relationship patterns, feeling like she was constantly fading into what other people expected of her instead of defining her own life. She wanted to arrive at her 40th birthday with a greater sense of purpose and confidence, but realized she didn’t know how to get there on her own. She had always been curious about having a coach to help her and decided to take the leap, believing that she was worth the investment.
Since then, Erin has been leaning into personal growth. She’s learned many new skills for navigating difficult emotions, creating effective boundaries in relationships, speaking up for herself, and has found the power of giving to others from the overflow of her capacity, something that can only happen when she pays attention to her needs and receives relational fuel from others.
In 2020, Erin quit her job in marketing and public relations and now works fulltime as a coach, living out her passion of helping others create the same healthy changes in their lives that she’s seen for herself. She’s invested four years in the Townsend Leadership Program, experiencing the growth model and doing her own personal growth work with a coach. As an intuitive Enneagram 9, she loves making space for others and giving them insights to see transformation across all areas of their lives.
Erin lives near South Bend, Indiana with her husband Mike, daughters Kaitlyn (17) and Lilly (8), and their energetic and curious dog, Moxie. She enjoys cooking, serving as President of the Jimtown High School Band Boosters, and hosting a podcast, Personal Growth Sucks, where she talks about the power of leaning into personal growth (even when it sucks).
